Founded in 1973 after the simple act of a mother publicly supporting her gay son, PFLAG is the nation’s largest family and ally organization. Uniting people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) with families, friends, and allies, PFLAG is committed to advancing equality through its mission of support, education, and advocacy. PFLAG has 400 chapters and 200,000 supporters crossing multiple generations of American families in major urban centers, small cities, and rural areas in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. This vast grassroots network is cultivated, resourced, and serviced by PFLAG National, located in Washington, D.C., the National Board of Directors and 13 volunteer Regional Directors.

KEOS is 89.1 FM. It is a listener sponsored, commercial-free, non-profit, all-volunteer community radio and airs several GLBT programs.

The UU Church of the Brazos Valley is a welcoming congregation for all souls. We draw wisdom and inspiration from all sources, and love is our eternal guide. Advocacy and Action

The ACLU works to protect all citizens’ First Amendment rights, equal protection under the law, right to due process, right to privacy, and supports segments of the population that have been traditionally denied rights including LGBT people. 

Health Services

A program of Texas Health Action, the Kind Clinic provides sexual health services including PrEP and PEP access, STI testing and treatment, HIV testing, and gender affirming care to Central Texans in need. The Kind Clinic strives to provide sexual health services
to all members of the LGBTQ community and allies, regardless of race, creed, gender expression, or sexual orientation.
